Meet Crowley! This curious little corgi Cerberus is the next new face, or should I say faces, here at the Critter-iffic pattern library. This little treat hound is sure to rob your heart as well as those snacks in your pockets. This little dog amigurumi will be a great new friend to have!
When you add a little mystical magic to an adorable dog…
You will end up with the cutest corgi Cerberus there ever has been! I just love corgis and those happy smiling balls of fluff with never ending energy. I always knew I wanted to create a corgi pattern one day too. It seems that day has finally arrived.
When Amigurumi.com released word of an upcoming amigurumi contest last fall featuring fantasy creatures I glanced at my inspiration list. An instant a lightbulb went off when I saw corgi in addition to Cerberus and my brain asked me…why not BOTH?
So with some yarn, some crochet magic, and a nod to one of the best shows ever, and Crowley came to be. He is the sweetest 3 headed hell hound ever!
Crocheting Crowley the Corgi Cerberus
Crowley is an easier intermediate amigurumi pattern. You can create him with as many heads as your treat bin can handle, however I suggest one or three. He uses worsted weight yarn and a 4mm crochet hook. You will need 2 colors for his body, one for his inner ear, and 2 colors for his collar (scrap yarn is perfect for this!). Each of his head uses (2) 15mm safety eyes and an 18mm nose. You will also need stuffing, stitch markers, scissors and your yarn needle. Pins will also come in handy especially for helping attach the head (s).
