I’m about to get real right now.

This is a heavy week and my heart is breaking for anyone and their families that are affected in levels that I didn’t even realize it could be.

I have no words, can’t put into words. So much destruction and pain surrounding the southeast. Catastrophic, traumatic, devastating do not even sound like powerful enough words on any level to even start describing.

While my home area was not hit from this beast of a storm, I still feel it to my core. I e spent this week in a shattered fog along side so many of you. These are friends and their families, people I’ve brushed elbows with, past neighbors, beloved locations, places I’ve spent traveling to, areas I’ve lived. Lives and locations gone in a blink. Landscapes forever changed.

If you are able to help, even in very small ways, I urge you to do so.

Please seek out local direct means of help into the affected areas, those going directly to the towns affected as it will help more than any of the big default ones (that still have whole communities left to fend for themselves even days later.)

Look for those collecting locally if you are in outside regions that are directly delivering necessities into areas, world central kitchen (from everything I have seen) is actually helping get food and water into these communities. I’m sure there are others, do your research, and decide what you feel is best. Donate blood if you are able to.

And give yourself time to grieve.

One last note,
Tommorrow my IG and FB will be back to my silly and often lighthearted social media posts, most of which were curated and planned last week before the storm. And new posts that follow those will be put together the same fashion because that is what I can handle while my energy is elsewhere, a little smidge of my normal in all of this, and that is ok to grasp onto.

Tilly is cheering me on when we pretend that it’

Tilly is cheering me on when we pretend that it’s the start of the week even though it’s technically Tuesday 🤫😂 (I really did need that extra day though) the @allamericanreptileandplantexpo was such a wonderful time! So much so that I completely forgot to grab photos once in as I was too busy looking at the amazing plants, animals and art that everyone brought! It was definitely worth the adventure away to explore as a guest, and I look forward to seeing it again when it comes back next spring, hopefully with my critters along side for the weekend!

This week I will be working on some plush restock for my next event, which is coming up quick!
